Taka Taka is a vibrant and fast-paced Greek street food restaurant in the heart of Bristol. We are currently looking for an experienced

Grill Cook

to join our kitchen team and help deliver high-quality meals with speed and consistency.

Responsibilities:

Grill a variety of meats to order (chicken, lamb, beef, pork, etc.) with precision and speed Maintain food safety and hygiene standards at all times Assist in food preparation and kitchen setup before service Follow recipes and portion guidelines Maintain a clean and organized grill and work station Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff
Requirements:

At least 1 year of experience

working as a grill cook or in a similar role Strong understanding of meat grilling techniques and cooking temperatures Experience with food preparation, portion control, and kitchen hygiene Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment Good communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
