About Us

The Tregothnan Estate is a large private rural estate and family home with a world-renowned botanical garden and woodland. The Role

We are seeking an experienced Groom to work in our small Equine Team, looking after 2 horses, and mainly working on your own. The duties include:

- Mucking out, turning out and general yard duties.
- Preparation of horses and carriages for private events and showing.
- Assisting with exercising and carriage driving.

About You

You will need:

- Previous Groom experience.
- Good organisational skills, ability to prioritise, and good attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, professional attitude, polite and good levels of personal presentation.
- Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
- A flexible approach to work.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence and own transport to travel to and from work, as we are in a rural location, with no access to public transport.
