We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason and grounds worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bricklaying and masonry, with the ability to work with both hand and power tools. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the capability to work independently or as part of a team on various construction projects. ?

Duties

Lay bricks, blocks, and other types of masonry materials in accordance with building plans and specifications. Construct walls, arches, and other structures using bricklaying techniques. Perform repairs and maintenance on existing brickwork. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of masonry work with other construction elements. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency on site. Follow all health and safety regulations while working on-site.

Requirements

Proven experience in bricklaying or masonry is essential. techniques is advantageous. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to masonry work. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as required. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A valid driver's licence may be required for travel between job sites.
