Job Description
We're looking for an experienced
Groundworker
with specialist skills in deep drainage to join our team.Your Key Responsibilities:
Read and work from construction drawings and deep drainage layouts Install clay, concrete, and plastic pipes of various sizes for deep drainage systems Use pipe lasers to set precise levels and alignments Ensure correct bedding and surround materials are applied for pipe stability Install manholes, gully traps, and connection points accurately Bench and finish manholes to a high standard Work safely around live services using service avoidance techniques Manage groundwater using suitable pump systems Assist with or carry out pipe testing as required Support backfilling and reinstatement of trenches after pipe installation
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in deep drainage groundworks Skilled in both internal and external drainage installation Valid CSCS card Additional CPCS/NPORS tickets for plant operation (e.g., dumper, roller) are a bonus Experience working as part of a drainage gang or team Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with others * Right to work in the UK
