We are recruiting for our London office where you'll be joining a growing team of nearly 500 people. London is Efficio's global Headquarters where consultants based in London will support clients across the UK and Europe with opportunity to travel globally. Our consultants provide flexible support to clients whether it is a rapid assessment, short term savings realisation or embedding in a long-term partnership to deliver lasting and measurable value to clients.

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic and forward-thinking Financial Controller who can tackle the challenges inherent in a rapidly growing, international business. This is a pivotal position in the finance structure and will be highly visible across the business. With a great deal of autonomy and responsibility, this position will provide an excellent career platform with good opportunities for personal development to a for a driven, commercially minded and technical individual.

What will you be doing?

Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely management and statutory accounts. Ensuring compliance with international accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Lead a strong finance team, foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth. Manage annual external auditors and ensure the completion of annual financial audits in compliance with all relevant regulations and reporting requirements. Implement and maintain strong internal controls and enforce adherence to financial policies and procedures. Liaise with the Regional Finance teams, Operations, HR, FP&A & Commercial teams to facilitate the distribution of quality data Oversee and help mature the global Payroll Oversee banking requirements of the group and relationships with lenders other financial institutions to and ensure adequate liquidity and compliance. Coordinate with the Head of Tax to oversee tax compliance and reporting. Ensuring timely and accurate lodgment and payment of commitments Assist with corporate activities, including accounting structuring work.

CA, ACCA or equivalent (min 3 years post qualified) Vision of what a quality finance function looks like and able to drive change Experience/gravitas to be able to manage a department and liaise with external advisors Communication skills to liaise with advisors and business service functions Self-starter and ability to work independently with little guidance to support junior staff as well as senior management Willingness to support team "with sleeves rolled up" in any area as necessary Accurate and methodical with attention to detail Dynamic and energetic team player Flexibility to operate across a range of accounting, tax and operational matters
