HR / People Manager - Learning & Development Focus (Remote with Site Travel)
Location:
Remote (UK-based) with occasional travel to Leeds, Sheffield, Dorset, London.

The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR / People Manager with a strong emphasis on Learning & Development. This role is pivotal in shaping our people strategy, overseeing recruitment, managing annual appraisals, developing bonus schemes, overseeing payroll, and ensuring HR policy compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement comprehensive L&D programs to enhance employee skills and career development.
Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring timely and effective hiring.
Oversee annual appraisal cycles, providing guidance and support to managers and staff.
Develop and administer performance-based bonus schemes.
Supervise payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Review and update HR policies to reflect current legislation and best practices.
Act as a trusted advisor to management and staff on all HR-related matters.
Liaise with external HR advisors when required.
Report directly to the CEO / Operations Director.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a senior HR role with a focus on Learning & Development.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Willingness to travel to various sites as required.
Desirable:
CIPD qualification or equivalent.
Corporate HR experience.
Experience in the construction or fire safety industry.

37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday (hours can be worked between 730am-6pm)
