Sales Manager: Luxury Hospitality, Experiences & Events



Locations: Seckford Hall Hotel (Woodbridge) & Woodhall Manor (Sutton), Suffolk

This is not a passive, enquiry-led sales role.



We're seeking a commercially astute, consultative Sales Manager to take full ownership of revenue generation across two of Suffolk's most distinctive luxury venues. This role is about strategy, leadership and proactive selling, building relationships, shaping demand, and leading a high-performing team to deliver sustained growth.

Seckford Hall Hotel and Woodhall Manor offer far more than weddings alone. From exclusive-use manor house stays and milestone celebrations to corporate offsites, retreats and curated luxury experiences, this role sits at the heart of how we sell, position and grow our offering.

The Role: What You'll Own



As Sales Manager, you will be fully accountable for commercial performance across both venues, leading a consultative, proactive sales culture that converts opportunity into predictable, profitable revenue.

You will own strategy, execution, forecasting and team performance -- not just activity.

You will:



Set & Lead Sales Strategy
Develop and deliver a clear, ambitious multi-venue sales strategy across weddings, private celebrations, corporate events, exclusive-use stays and experiential packages, aligned to revenue targets and long-term growth.

Proactively Drive New Business
Actively source, shape and convert new opportunities through relationship-led selling, partnerships, outbound outreach and structured pipeline development -- not simply responding to inbound enquiries.

Lead, Manage & Motivate the Sales Team
Take full ownership of sales team performance, coaching and accountability. You will run regular, focused sales meetings, embed high standards, sharpen consultative selling skills and create a culture where targets are clearly owned and consistently delivered.

Own the Pipeline, Prediction Sheet & Forecasting
Maintain absolute ownership of the sales pipeline and prediction sheet, ensuring it is live, accurate and credible at all times. You will drive pipeline discipline, stage accuracy and probability weighting to produce reliable forecasts.

Deliver Accurate Reporting & Commercial Insight
Provide clear, timely and accurate reporting to senior leadership, translating CRM and PMS data into meaningful insight, actions and decisions. No surprises -- just confident, data-led performance management.

Maximise Yield & Conversion
Champion premium products, experiences and exclusive-use opportunities, ensuring every enquiry is strategically qualified, priced and converted to maximise value, margin and guest experience.

Work Cross-Functionally
Collaborate closely with operations, marketing and leadership teams to ensure what is sold is deliverable, profitable and aligned with brand standards across both venues.

What You'll Bring



We're looking for a sales leader, not just a venue seller.

You'll ideally have:

Proven success in consultative, target-driven sales environments (luxury hospitality, leisure, property, events, or comparable sectors) Strong team leadership and performance management experience, ideally across multi-site or multi-product operations A confident, commercial mindset with the ability to influence, negotiate and close Experience managing pipelines, forecasts and performance via CRM systems (Zoho, Guestline or similar) High levels of ownership, accountability and drive, you take responsibility for outcomes, not just activity A polished, professional presence with excellent communication skills
Experience in weddings or events is valuable, but not essential. Commercial instinct, leadership and proactive sales capability are.
