Group Used Vehicle Executive

Working across our group sites we're looking for someone who can enhance our used car presence bringing images to life and making sure our cars look as good in the digital world as they do in real life

Working closely with our Sales Managers you will be tasked with making sure images and videos are taken for freshly arriving stock and ensure a swift and efficient route to market for used vehicles

Key attributes / skills required for the role are:

Exceptional proven photographic and videoing skills. Formal qualifications, whilst advantageous, are not as important as your flair and creativity, as evidenced in your portfolio of work. We are looking for someone to bring a unique style of work for our Group to accompany the mandated style shots

Much of the work will be outdoor and sometimes in in-clement weather or working in remote locations to get the right shot

Strong written communication skills to wordsmith copy for adverts and to write detailed descriptions of vehicles for sale, in a manner that provides informative yet interesting reading that is pertinent to the end user

Demonstrable competent ability to edit to ensure the efficient upload, amending and editing of photographs and video content for our website and social media channels

Computer literate with good working knowledge of appropriate editing software and Microsoft office suite

Results driven and with the proven ability to self-manage to ensure work is completed efficiently and to the highest standard

Hold a full UK driving licence (max 3 penalty points). Significant driving of a range of vehicles will be required

The key responsibilities include:

Completing photography and video assets of used cars to facilitate highly efficient and fast route to market of used vehicles across all sites

Reviewing / auditing and adjusting online presence including 'attention grabbers' to ensure competitive online presence

Where required secure images of vehicles and upload to required portals for faster advertising of stock

Assisting sales managers with used car stock management including but not limited to daily price checking utilising systems such as Autotrader to ensure group pricing is competitive in the national marketplace.

Visiting sites to conduct stock preparedness audits to ensure all are presented and ready to sell and defect free

Reviewing aged stock within group and make recommendations for movement of stock within a defined age range and agreeing a disposal / sale outside of group

Monitoring of Motability returns in conjunction with sites management and Motability specialists identifying units that fit within a pre-defined stock profile across the group

Where required secure images of vehicles purchased remotely and upload to required portals for faster advertising of stock including before vehicles are physically in stock

Ensure that vehicles with unique of desirable factory fitted options are identified and the relevant benefits are clearly displayed and communicated to potential buyers

Assist with trade vehicle disposal including but not limited to imaging of vehicles for sale through the dealer auction portal

Provide support to sites conducting promotional events

In return the successful candidate will receive a remuneration package of an OTE of up to 30,000

The ideal candidate should be based in the Nottinghamshire / South Yorkshire / West Yorkshire areas as our dealerships are located in Mansfield, Sheffield and Huddersfield.
