Parkway Volkswagen Group is a leading automotive dealership in the midlands, with dealerships at Derby, Leicester, Northampton and Kettering with 2 commercial vehicle sites at Leicester and Kettering, specialising in both new and pre-owned vehicles. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service and providing high-quality vehicles to our clients. We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Used Car Merchandiser to join our growing team. As a group we sell over 5000 used vehicles a year.

Position Overview:

Group Merchandiser Controller will oversee all aspects of the group's pre-owned vehicle operations, franchise and non-franchise. This role is responsible for managing used car stock, setting pricing strategies using Autotrader dealer portal.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the used car stock, ensuring that vehicles are correctly merchandised and displayed. Develop pricing strategies based on market trends, demand, and vehicle conditions. Coordinate with the sales teams onsite to ensure vehicle availability and readiness for customers. Monitor and adjust the presentation of vehicles online and on the pitch. Analyse market trends and competitor pricing to maximize profitability.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Used Car Manager / Controller or similar role in the automotive industry. Strong understanding of used car market trends, pricing, and stock management. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong customer service and communication skills. A high level of organisation and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet monthly targets. Proficiency in automotive sales software and inventory management systems. Valid driver's license required.
