We have commenced our search for Guest Service Assistants to support the opening of the IHG Garner Rotherham - a 3-star focused service 91-bedroom hotel opening January 2026.

The Opportunity
This is great opportunity to be trained in a multi skilled role to provide an outstanding service to our clients/guests.
You will work in both Front of House and Food and Beverage. When working on the front desk you will be the first point of contact for guests so we are seeking people who want to represent the Garner IHG brand.
Being multi skilled trained you will be at the centre of our business and deliver the highest level of service to our guests/clients daily.

Responsibilities include
Checking in and checking out guests in a friendly efficient manner
Waiting at tables across numerous dining areas and engaging with guests in a polite and friendly manner
Serving drinks in the bar, demonstrating knowledge of all products and up selling and advising guests
Undertaking duties in all areas
General duties to include cleaning of dining rooms, bar and polishing cutlery and keeping all areas to the highest of standards
Cooking Breakfast or limited food menu to IHG brand standards
Candidate Profile
Strong sense of customer service
Highly enthusiastic
Highly motivated and goal oriented
Has strong communication skills and teamwork abilities
Enjoys working under pressure in a high-paced environment
Goes above and beyond to deliver a high-quality experience
Previous experience as a waiter/waitress and a good understanding of food and beverage is desirable

A dedicated Nights Team will be employed however sickness and holiday cover will result in cover of the following '

Part Time Hours
may include all of the above or shorter shifts in line with the business needs for example:
7.00-11.00, 7.00-12.00, 8.00-12.00, 8.00-13.00, 17.00-22.00, 17.30-22.30 or 18.00-23.00

Pay: 12.21 per hour
