Stepping through the doors of our timeless Georgian building, you are ready to inspire and empower your team to deliver an outstanding experience to our guests and clients.
You'll oversee weddings and events, building relationships with our clients and making sure every aspect of their event is perfect. From ironing out the details to putting the final touches on the tables, you're with them from beginning to end.
You'll be part of a team of Guest Service Managers, working together to orchestrate the seamless operation of our guest services. Whether popping your head round to make sure dinner service runs smoothly or helping the team on reception deal with a tricky reservation, you're always ready to step in and lead from the front any time you're needed.
This role reports directly to the Hotel Manager
What your week will look like
You'll be at the heart of delivering exceptional weddings and events. You'll host show rounds with prospective clients, manage final details, and coordinate everything from bedroom bookings to supplier arrangements. You'll arrange menu tastings, create room layouts, and lead weekly briefings to ensure everything runs smoothly. On the day of the event, you'll be the dedicated host, leading from set up to the first dance, overseeing decorations and ensuring every detail is just right.
You'll help plan a variety of events from birthdays and christenings to celebrations of life. You'll support local advertising efforts and build strong relationships within the community. You'll also play an active part in supporting the hotel's daily operations.

About You
To be a great fit for this role, you must have experience of operational delivery of a variety of events, with a strong understanding of how a wedding runs. You are highly organised, with excellent administrative and IT skills.
You are quick to build relationships, making genuine connections with your exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
You're not afraid to roll up your sleeves and lead from the front, supporting and nurturing the team across guest services.
