Job Description

We are looking for exciting individuals to join our Gym Team. You will help illuminate the way for our members. You will coordinate the Member Experience, while offering a top tier level of Hospitality. You are the Ambassador of first impressions - your role is to warmly greet and assist Members and Guests and maintain the look and flow of the space.

Duties:

Being comfortable in conversing with Members, Guests and potential leads regarding the space, various programmes, and amenities offered.

Maintain constant surveillance of members in the facility and respond to any emergencies quickly and effectively.

Enforce gym policies and safety rules to create a safe and enjoyable environment for members.

Assist members with the use of the sauna and steam room

General day to day administrative tasks; responding to emails, answering the phone etc

Ensure that all equipment is cleaned and operated in accordance with the operating instructions

Report any equipment faults to the maintenance department.

Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the gym floor, changing rooms and other common areas.

Collaborate with other gym staff and departments to ensure a cohesive and positive member experience.

Communicate effectively with management regarding any issues, suggestions or feedback from members.

Assist with gym tours and membership sign-ups, providing information on membership options, benefits and pricing.

Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication

Previous experience in a customer service or fitness-related role is preferred

Knowledge of fitness equipment and exercise techniques is beneficial

Basic computer skills for performing administrative tasks and using gym management software.

Team player with the ability to work independently and collaborately with others
