Job description
We are seeking a delivery and installation engineer to join our expanding UK delivery team.
Successful candidates will be hard working, have experience with basic hand tools (spanners, allen keys, screw drivers) and assembly of flat pack products (or similar appliances where the skills are transferable), be able to work well in a team, carry out the role professionally, and use their own initiative. Our head office is based in Preston, Lancashire, so living within a close proximity is advantageous.
Main duties -
Driving long wheel base high roof vans, lifting, assembly using hand tools, loading/unloading.
Demonstrate equipment to clients after installation so they can see how it works.
Floor Fitting (learn on the job)
To keep vehicles clean and tidy (Inside & out)
To keep on top of weekly vehicle checks
Other duties -
To assist the warehouse/delivery team as needed, duties include:
Assembling gym equipment ready for delivery
Cleaning of refurbished or second hand equipment
Picking orders
General duties as required
The job sometimes entails overnight hotel stays, and there can be long days.
The company from time to time may need you to undertake other duties as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 - 50 per week
