WHAT WILL I BE RESPONSIBLE FOR AS A LEISURE GYM MANAGER?

As the Gym Manager, you'll constantly want to find innovative ways to put a smile on your members' faces. You'll need to ensure that you and your team add a positive dimension to the member experience by providing an engaging visit for your members.

THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

Member acquisition & Member retention.

Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Remaining up to date with industry and competitor trends.

Ensuring achievement of sales, retention, and financial targets.

Recruiting, onboarding, developing and leading an outstanding team.

Designing, managing, and supporting the delivery of programmes for members.

Ensuring compliance with operating standards and Health & Safety regulations.

Overseeing the maintenance of equipment and premises.

Target-driven and passionate, to challenge themselves and their team to succeed.

You will be a motivated and confident, commercially driven leader who can see how the details matter, making constant, small changes to make your club the best it can be. Most importantly, you will love building rapport with your members, understanding their motivations, and offering support. A public face of the club can engage in outreach activity, increase brand awareness, and sell the club and our excellent facilities.

This is a full-time, permanent position. The exact working hours will be determined but will involve a minimum of 40 hours per week. You will need the willingness to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.

Qualifications
- Management experience
- Supervising experience
- Team management skills
- Retail and sales management background
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Merchandising knowledge
- Multilingual or bilingual proficiency preferred
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Administrative experience and phone etiquette

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
