Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Fitness Manager to lead our fitness team and enhance the overall experience of our members. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for health and fitness, along with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving membership sales while fostering a positive and motivating environment.

Responsibilities

Manage and supervise the fitness team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. Develop and implement training programmes for staff to enhance their skills in customer service and fitness instruction. Communicate effectively with members to understand their needs and provide tailored fitness solutions. Oversee daily operations of the fitness facility, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and adherence to health regulations. Drive membership sales through effective marketing strategies and exceptional customer engagement. Maintain an organised schedule for classes, personal training sessions, and team meetings. Monitor performance metrics and report on progress towards goals. Foster a welcoming environment that encourages member retention and satisfaction.

Experience

Proven experience in retail management or a similar role within the fitness industry is preferred. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette. Experience in supervising teams, with a track record of motivating staff to achieve targets. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are advantageous for engaging with a diverse member base. A passion for fitness and wellness, coupled with the ability to sell services effectively.
