Job Summary

Active School UK is seeking passionate and reliable Gymnastics Coaches to deliver our

after-school enrichment clubs

across local primary schools. Sessions typically run

Monday to Friday between 3.00pm - 4.30pm

, with additional opportunities during holiday camps. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, is confident leading groups, and wants to inspire young people through sport.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics sessions as part of school enrichment clubs (KS1 & KS2). Teach core skills such as balance, strength, flexibility, and tumbling in a safe, fun environment. Provide clear feedback, encourage participation, and celebrate every child's progress. Ensure safeguarding and health & safety standards are upheld at all times. Keep registers and support children working towards their UKAG Awards. Work with assistant coaches, school staff, and the ASO team to provide smooth, professional sessions.

Requirements

Experience coaching or working with children (gymnastics background desirable but not essential--training can be provided). Available on

weekdays between 3.00pm - 4.30pm

during term time. Based in or able to travel to

Salisbury, Wiltshire

, with opportunities to coach in schools across

Hampshire, Dorset, and Somerset

as we expand. Enthusiastic, reliable, and able to manage groups of children independently. First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications desirable (training available if needed).
