Duties

Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs. Provide additional services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application as required. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide professional advice on hair care. Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members. Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments and maintaining client records. Engage in upselling of products and services to enhance client satisfaction and salon profitability. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised and ready for use. Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, barbering, and beauty treatments.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon environment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Experience in store management or front desk operations is advantageous. Knowledge of barbering techniques is a plus. Ability to perform eyelash extensions and makeup application is desirable but not essential. A valid hairdressing qualification or certification is required./ or beauty .
