Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Person at Care Opportunities, you will be responsible for a wide range of projects across multiple homes, ensuring they are well-maintained and renovated to the highest standards. Your role will be critical in ensuring our properties remain in excellent condition and meet the expectations of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including plumbing repairs, carpentry work, electrical installations and repairs, and home renovations. Diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues, ensuring efficient and effective solutions. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks to identify potential problems and address them proactively. Collaborate with property managers to prioritise and schedule maintenance tasks. Assist in budgeting and cost control for maintenance projects. Maintain a safe and organised workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work/ City & Guilds Plumbing Courses, BS 7671 Wiring Regulations, Relevant NVQ's. Advanced knowledge of home renovations and remodeling. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
