The Role:
We're seeking a detail-oriented Haulage Administrator to join our busy Transport team. This role supports the day-to-day haulage operations, ensuring driver compliance, accurate records, and smooth coordination across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
Process driver tickets and timesheets daily using Weighsoft and Tachomaster.
Record and reconcile driver hours for payroll.
Allocate and upload tickets to driver tablets.
Maintain load and tonnage records and chase missing supplier tickets.
Manage compliance logs, including weekly wheel retorque tracking.
Communicate with drivers and supervisors to support seamless operations.
Maintain accurate electronic and paper documentation.
Support reporting and KPI tracking for operational performance.
Who you are:
You're an organised and proactive administrator with experience in a busy, fast-paced environment. You have a good understanding of transport operations or logistics and enjoy working with data, systems, and people to support the smooth running of a vital function.
Key Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong communication and organisational skills
Experience in administration, ideally within transport/logistics
Attention to detail and a methodical approach
Knowledge of Weighsoft or similar systems (desirable)
Understanding of waste or bulk material classifications (desirable)
Payroll or compliance admin experience (desirable)
