to lead the Human Capital Management (HCM) workstream within a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation program. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP HCM and SuccessFactors architecture, integration strategy, and program delivery, with a strong understanding of cross-functional dependencies across Finance, Procurement, SAP Ariba, SAP Analytics Cloud, Concur, and various non-SAP systems.
The program is entering Integration Testing and facing delays in customization and configuration. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing these challenges, ensuring integration readiness, and supporting the transition from SAP ECC to SAP SuccessFactors.
Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Architecture
Define, validate, and oversee the end-to-end HCM architecture within the S/4HANA and SuccessFactors landscape.
Lead the design and integration of SuccessFactors modules including Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll, Recruitment, and Performance & Goals Management.
Ensure seamless integration with:
SAP Ariba (Procurement)
SAP Concur (Travel & Expense)
S/4HANA Finance
SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
Upstream and downstream non-SAP systems
Oversee configuration and customization activities, ensuring alignment with business requirements and SAP best practices.
Collaborate with technical teams to resolve integration, data flow, and systems interoperability issues.
Program Management
Lead the HCM workstream through all testing and deployment phases, including Integration Testing, UAT, OAT, dress rehearsals, cutover preparation, and go-live support.
Manage timelines, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements--particularly in light of ongoing delays in build and configuration.
Coordinate with functional and technical teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of milestones.
Provide structured reporting, status updates, and risk assessments to senior stakeholders and steering committees.
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the primary point of contact for all HCM-related topics across business and IT.
Facilitate workshops, design discussions, testing sessions, and decision-making forums.
Drive change management, training readiness, and user adoption strategies for HCM processes and tools.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of SAP HCM/SuccessFactors experience, including at least
three full-cycle SuccessFactors implementations
.
Proven background as a
Solution Architect
within large-scale SuccessFactors or HCM transformation programs.
Strong program and project management capabilities; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
Hands-on experience with Employee Central, ECP, Recruitment, and Performance & Goals Management.
Experience integrating SuccessFactors with SAP Ariba, Concur, and S/4HANA Finance.
Demonstrated expertise in ECC-to-SuccessFactors migration projects.
Experience integrating SAP with non-SAP platforms and third-party systems.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and issue-resolution skills.
Ability to manage pressure, navigate ambiguity, and deliver in complex, fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading global rollouts or multi-country HCM deployments.
Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
Knowledge of data migration, data cleansing, and data quality frameworks.
