We are seeking an experienced

S/4HANA Finance Functional Consultant / Solution Architect cum Program Manager

to support a large-scale SAP transformation program transitioning from SAP ECC to S/4HANA. The program also includes implementations of

Ariba

,

SuccessFactors

, and

Concur

. The majority of build activities are complete, and the program is moving into

SIT, UAT, OAT, and Dress Rehearsals

, with some configuration work continuing in parallel.

This role requires a hands-on leader with deep functional expertise in S/4HANA Finance, strong program management capability, and proven experience working across complex SAP landscapes. Knowledge of Grants & Donor Funds, upstream financial systems, and post-go-live stabilization is essential.

Key ResponsibilitiesFunctional Consulting & Solution Architecture



Provide expert guidance on S/4HANA Finance processes, capabilities, and best practices, particularly in the context of ECC-to-S/4HANA transformation. Validate, refine, and support existing configuration as well as any ongoing build activities. Ensure robust integration with Ariba (Procurement), SuccessFactors (HR), and Concur (Travel & Expense). Oversee integration between upstream systems (e.g., Summit) and downstream applications. Ensure process consistency, data integrity, and end-to-end alignment across interconnected systems. Identify, analyse, and resolve functional gaps, especially related to Grants and Donor Funds.

Program & Delivery Management



Lead and manage SIT, UAT, OAT, and Dress Rehearsal phases. Collaborate with testing teams to develop test scenarios, test cases, and ensure complete test coverage. Work closely with build/configuration teams to triage, prioritise, and resolve defects. Track, manage, and mitigate risks within time- and budget-constrained delivery environments. Coordinate communication across business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners.

Cutover Planning & Execution



Define and drive the cutover strategy for the transition from ECC to S/4HANA. Coordinate all cutover activities across Finance, HR, Procurement, and IT teams. Ensure readiness of data, systems, business stakeholders, and processes for go-live. Manage dependencies, risks, and contingency plans related to cutover execution. Lead cutover rehearsals and ensure alignment with program timelines and operational requirements.

Post Go-Live Stabilization & BAU Transition



Lead the transition from implementation to Business-As-Usual support. Establish stabilization and hypercare support models. Ensure complete knowledge transfer, documentation handover, and support readiness. Monitor early-life performance and drive timely resolution of post-go-live issues.

Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership



Serve as the primary point of contact for all Finance-related program topics. Facilitate workshops, decision-making forums, and issue resolution sessions. Ensure alignment between business needs, design decisions, and technical implementation.

Required Skills & Experience



10+ years of SAP Finance experience

, with at least

two full-cycle S/4HANA implementations

. Strong understanding of the ECC-to-S/4HANA transition, including data migration and functional harmonization. Proven experience in program and project management within SAP landscapes. Hands-on experience with Ariba, SuccessFactors, and Concur implementations and integrations. Strong understanding of financial upstream systems (e.g., Summit) and downstream integrations. Experience working with Grants and Donor Funds processes. Deep involvement in testing lifecycle activities including test planning, execution, and defect resolution. Demonstrated experience managing cutover planning and execution. Strong experience in transitioning programs to BAU support post-go-live. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work onsite as required (up to 4 days per week).

Preferred Qualifications



SAP Certification in S/4HANA Finance. Experience in public sector or non-profit environments. Project management certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent).
