Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a vibrant restaurant environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders while delivering excellent service. Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with licensing laws. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs. Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages to management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable. Uphold food safety regulations, ensuring all drinks are prepared in a hygienic manner.

Experience

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of food safety practices is required. Basic mathematical skills for handling cash transactions effectively. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently. A friendly disposition with the ability to engage positively with customers from diverse backgrounds. A willingness to help colleagues and contribute to a team-oriented environment is essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week
