Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of food production and kitchen operations
- Create and develop menus, ensuring high-quality and innovative dishes
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance management
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with management to develop cost-effective strategies for menu planning and inventory management
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menu offerings

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role. Experience working in an Asian / Japanese restaurant is ideal.
- Strong culinary skills, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and flavor combinations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative mindset with a passion for culinary arts
- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred, but not required
