Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations. Oversee food production and preparation processes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Develop innovative menus that reflect current trends while catering to customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experiences. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations. Assist in budgeting and cost control measures to maximise profitability without compromising quality.

Skills

Proven experience in food production and preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervising kitchen staff. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Creative flair for menu development and presentation of dishes. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences.
