Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Develop innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Oversee food preparation and production processes to ensure consistency and quality in every dish served. Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively. Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Implement new cooking techniques and presentation styles to elevate the dining experience.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry. Strong background in culinary arts with expertise in various cooking techniques. Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse team effectively while maintaining high morale. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy kitchen environment. Passion for food, creativity in menu design, and commitment to using high-quality ingredients. Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
