Responsibilities



Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation. Develop and implement creative menus that cater to seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure high standards of food quality and service. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary while minimising waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as needed to enhance efficiency. Foster a positive team culture that encourages collaboration and professional growth.

Skills



Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong background in food production with extensive culinary experience. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse group of individuals. Proficient in food preparation techniques and cooking methods across various cuisines. In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Previous restaurant experience is essential, with a focus on delivering exceptional hospitality. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations.
