Responsibilities
Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking processes.
Develop and design creative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient team atmosphere.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards in every dish served.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Implement cost control measures to optimise kitchen efficiency while maintaining quality.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within a restaurant setting.
Strong culinary skills with a passion for cooking and creativity in menu development.
Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen staff effectively.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
