Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a proven track record of managing kitchen operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food production, ensuring high standards of food safety, and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring quality and consistency Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food presentation, and safety practices Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team Extensive knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices Previous experience in restaurant management is highly desirable Strong leadership qualities with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests
This is a full time position - 5 days per week 6am - 4pm including weekends! No split shifts or evenings!!

Salary negotiable depending on experience.

Pay: 25,778.61-35,247.64 per year
