Responsibilities

Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food preparation, and best practices in hospitality. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Monitor kitchen performance metrics and implement improvements as needed to enhance efficiency.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant and events environment. Extensive culinary experience with a strong focus on food preparation and cooking techniques. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the hospitality industry. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
