We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. Duties

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food production, preparation, and presentation. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked with necessary ingredients. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills in cooking techniques and food safety practices. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and a positive dining experience for guests. Monitor food quality and portion control to maintain consistency across all dishes served. Assist in the recruitment of kitchen staff and contribute to performance evaluations.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Demonstrated ability in team management, fostering a collaborative environment among kitchen staff. Excellent culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, production, and presentation. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Experience in menu planning and cost control is advantageous.
