Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality food production. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Assist in the recruitment and training of new kitchen staff members. Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to continuously enhance the dining experience.

Skills

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and motivation. In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with the capability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Passion for culinary arts with creativity in menu planning and dish creation.
