Copper Still Restaurant & Bar on The Royal Mile in Edinburgh is looking for a Head Chef who enjoys working in a busy kitchen using fresh Scottish produce.

We offer a very good salary, plus excellent tronc tips (upto 10,000 per year) able to work flexible hours.

We are part of a group of local Scottish Restaurants and Bars in the heart of the Old Town and Royal Mile and are fun places to work with great customers. We serve locally sourced Scottish food, great cocktails, whisky, craft beers and wine.

Head Chef Duties:

Cooking to a high standard with great presentation skills, produce quality food Recipe development Can do and positive attitude, hands on approach and the ability to work well under pressure Day-to-day management of the kitchen brigade Managing and controlling budgets Staff recruitment, training and development Managing Staff Rota's Managing food ordering, delivery, storage and cost control Ensuring the highest levels of compliance & kitchen hygiene Food preparation with attention to detail and efficient service Menu planning and development Excellent communication and the ability to work well with others Great organisational skills and the ability to multitask Computer literate in using Microsoft excel spreadsheets and word
