Head Chef - Event Catering Company, run our centralised kitchen and required to be onsite for some events
About Us:
We are a relatively new catering company undergoing growth, and are now looking for a chef who takes pride in their work to put procedures and quality in place as we grow.
We do events from private dining in peoples homes, to pop up restaurants and corporate buffets.
We are now seeking a
Head Chef
to lead the kitchen with vision, consistency, and confidence -- someone who respects classic flavours but is also comfortable contributing fresh ideas to help us continue evolving our food offering.
The Role:
As Head Chef, you will:
Manage our food safety and hygiene
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food quality, GP management, supplier relations, and hygiene standards
Deliver consistently excellent food across all weddings/functions
Collaborate with ownership on gradual menu development and event planning
Help us grow the team and business through consistent and quality food
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous, ideally with events experience
Strong knowledge of food costing, stock control, and team leadership
A calm, organised and reliable presence in the kitchen
Ability to work collaboratively and lead by example
Must be able and willing to drive to and from events

Hours:
Job Type: Full-time, 45 hours
Pay: 34,000.00-37,000.00 per year with agreed bonuses based on performance and targets
