We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu creation to staff management, ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service and delicious meals.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment Plan and create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency and quality in every dish Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen Train and mentor kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and cooking methods Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a professional kitchen environment Strong background in food production and preparation techniques Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others Extensive culinary experience with a deep understanding of various cooking styles Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service excellence Strong leadership capabilities to guide the kitchen team effectively Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations in the culinary industry Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
