We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team at Bizarron! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and be happy to learn a new cuisine. Having a flair for creating innovative dishes that delight and excite our guests. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, and maintaining high standards of food safety. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily kitchen operations
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency
Develop new recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen
Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety, and hospitality standards
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Maintain high standards of presentation for all dishes served
Skills
Proven supervising experience in a kitchen environment
Strong background in food production and preparation techniques
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
Extensive culinary experience with a passion for cooking and creativity
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Express creativity with food & create specials menus
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to work under pressure
Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and guests
