Your Role as Head Chef

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth service, high standards, and consistent food quality. You'll be a hands-on leader, working closely with the team and setting the tone for excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading the preparation and cooking of fresh, high-quality dishes Managing and developing a small team of chefs and kitchen assistants Creating and delivering seasonal menus and daily specials Ensuring full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations Managing stock levels, ordering, and minimising food waste Monitoring food costs and contributing to efficient kitchen operations Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional kitchen environment Training, mentoring, and motivating team members

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up Strong leadership and team management skills A genuine passion for cooking with fresh ingredients Calm and organised under pressure Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards Creative input with a keen eye for detail and presentation
