Duties

Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Oversee food preparation and production, ensuring that all dishes meet our high culinary standards. Develop innovative menus that reflect current trends while catering to customer preferences. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards within the kitchen. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering their professional development within the culinary field. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock of quality ingredients. Implement cost control measures to maximise profitability while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a busy kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of food production techniques and culinary practices. Excellent team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others. A deep understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. A passion for cooking and creativity in menu development is essential.
