We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating innovative dishes that reflect our restaurant's vision.

Duties



Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Oversee food preparation and production processes to maintain high-quality standards. Develop and implement menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment. Train and mentor kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and best practices. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Assist in budgeting and cost control measures to enhance profitability.

Requirements



Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines, showcasing creativity in menu development. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and service. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards. A passion for hospitality and delivering an exceptional dining experience for guests.
