Responsibilities
Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Develop and design innovative menus that cater to diverse tastes while adhering to seasonal availability.
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of food safety at all times.
Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality across all dishes.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and efficient kitchen operations.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked with necessary ingredients.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area, adhering to hygiene standards.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
