Job Description
LIVE IN OPTION AVAILABLE.
We are looking for a Head Chef or someone that is looking to take the next step in their career for our pub, The Strand on the High Street in Cheltenham. As the Head Chef you will, along with the General Manager, be responsible for the day-to-day functions of our small kitchen, maintaining high and consistent standards and up to date due diligence, managing the stock levels, have a good understanding of GPs, and supporting team development and driving growth of the business and working to targets set by the finance team.
What are we looking for?
- A great knowledge and understanding of the running of a busy kitchen and the production of high-quality homemade fresh food.
- Experience of dealing with and complying with all aspects of Health and Safety and Hygiene regulations in the Kitchen and maintaining written records.
- A genuine passion for providing customers with an excellent experience.
- Knowledge of and understanding of keeping to and exceeding the monthly budgets and targets
- An excellent team player with exceptional communication skills.
- A willingness to gain and develop new skills whilst aiding the improvement of others.
