We are a fast growing American style restaurant in the Walton area of Liverpool. With expansion imminent we are looking for competent chefs to come and work in our flagship store.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking
- Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
- Manage inventory levels and ordering of supplies
- Develop and maintain kitchen procedures and standards
- Train and mentor staff on best practices
- Monitor kitchen hygiene and adherence to health and safety regulations
- Oversee kitchen budgeting and cost control
- Recruit staff and ensure minimum staffing levels
- Stock run if needed
- Ensure minimum staffing levels are met through creating efficient Rotas to budget
- Monitor and reply to reviews
- Organise waste collections
- Challenge Charge Backs on delivery platforms
- Deliver fortnightly Profit/Loss reports
- Manage Complaints
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Proficient in managing kitchen operations efficiently
- Excellent culinary knowledge and skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Working with finances
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 33,000.00-36,000.00 per year
