We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including training, leading shifts and menu development, whilst ensuring consistent margins & maintaining excellent food safety standards. Hours required can be flexible for the right candidate.

Duties
Lead the kitchen team in food production, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Develop a diverse menu with seasonality in mind and a regularly changing specials board offering.
Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
Manage margins effectively by minimising waste, ordering efficiently & ensuring recipes are always followed.
Work collaboratively with the FOH team, with a friendly, approachable manner, to ensure slick & efficient services.
Requirements
Experience as a Head Chef is preferred, or a Sous Chef who is ready to take the next step in their 1st Head Chef role.
Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations.
Excellent leadership abilities with experience in supervising and training kitchen staff.
An approachable, professional chef who works as well with the FOH team as they do with the rest of the kitchen team.
A passion for cooking and creativity in menu development.
Ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high standards.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
