We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. As Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in menu development, staff training, and maintaining a harmonious kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and presentation. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to maximise profitability. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary. Maintain a positive working atmosphere that encourages creativity and teamwork.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a restaurant setting. Strong supervisory skills with demonstrated team management experience. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Excellent leadership abilities with a passion for mentoring junior staff. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. A culinary qualification or relevant training is highly desirable. Pay: From 12.21 per hour
