We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and deliver exceptional culinary experiences. This role requires a hands-on approach to food preparation, team management, and maintaining food safety protocols within a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow.
Develop and implement innovative menu items that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining our restaurant's unique identity.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen.
Train new kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Maintain a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and fosters professional development.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within a restaurant setting.
Pure Vegeterian Indo-Western fusion cuisine. For e.g. Indian spiced Cheese and Onion pasties with Gravy
Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Culinary qualifications or relevant certifications are preferred but not essential.
