The White Horse, Chedgrave is a friendly village pub situated in the heart of the South Norfolk Broads, 12 miles south east of Norwich, just off the A146. Run by Simon and Karen Peck since March 2008, you would be working alongside the Company Director who runs the business on a day-to-day basis.

The talented team in the kitchen always aims to deliver varied and irresistible dishes with an extensive lunch and evening menu along with daily specials. Everything is prepared fresh on the premises. The White Horse specialises in putting together tailored menus for private functions to suit every occasion.

We are looking for a Chef educated to the equivalent of NVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery or with a proven track record and professional experience in a similar role. The hours of work will be between 40-48 hours per week, with the chance of overtime to be discussed. This role can be tailored to work for an experienced head chef or an opportunity for someone to take on this position for the first time as training/support is available.
Wage details:- negotiable depending on previous experience

:-Reporting into the business owner. Responsibilities will include day to day management of the kitchen: planning and directing food preparation, supervising other kitchen staff, maintaining food records, keeping an eye out for problems that arise in the kitchen and seizing control of a situation at a moment's notice. Ordering and managing stock. Oh, and you get to cook too!
