We are currently seeking an experienced
Head Chef
with a strong background in Vietnamese and Asian cuisine to lead our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, passion, and deep culinary knowledge to our vibrant restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation
Design, develop, and update authentic Vietnamese menus
Oversee daily kitchen operations including inventory, ordering, and food safety compliance
Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment
Collaborate with management on seasonal specials and event menus
Control food costs, reduce waste, and ensure efficiency in all kitchen processes
Skills & Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience in a professional kitchen, with at least 2 years as Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef
Proven expertise in Vietnamese cuisine is essential
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
In-depth knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and allergen practices (Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene Certificate preferred)
Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for culinary excellence
Must be eligible to work in the UK
