We require a dedicated head chef to work within a team delivering great quality pub classic food with a twist. You will have full control of the menu working with the general manager to deliver the best food in the area.
You will be working for Priory Inns NW ltd a small company of 6 pubs around the north west. We look after our staff and want them enjoy coming work.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant operations, culinary arts, and food preparation. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and the ability to manage a busy kitchen while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. The Head Chef will play a crucial role in menu development, food production, and ensuring an outstanding dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen.
Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency in every dish served.
Assist in budgeting and cost control measures related to food production.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within a restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen management.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
A passion for hospitality and delivering an outstanding dining experience.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
