What you'll be doing...
As a Head Chef you will be proactively managing and supporting a catering team as well as creating a platform for financial growth through cost control and culinary excellence.
Lead, motivate, and manage a culinary team within a CPU environment
Oversee large-scale food preparation and ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency
Ensure excellent communication within the team and across departments
Work closely with the Development Chef to execute and evolve menu standards
Manage kitchen operations including ordering, stock rotation, and traceability
Maintain control of labour and food costs within budget
Ensure compliance with Food Safety, COSHH, H&S, Environmental Regulations, and all legal responsibilities
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation across all areas of the CPU
Monitor and record daily HACCP processes and ensure full due diligence
