Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant is a modern and relaxed restaurant dedicated to providing an exceptional dining experience. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality food and outstanding service. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We are open Thursday to Monday, 9am - 4pm so no evening work although we have plans to open some evenings in the future.

Summary

'Head Chef' at Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant in GB is a pivotal role that contributes to our mission of delivering delightful culinary experiences. You will lead our kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety while fostering a creative and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Lead and manage kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and professional development. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with regulations. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Train new kitchen staff on procedures, techniques, and best practices. Innovate new recipes and cooking techniques to enhance the dining experience.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
