Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our Kitchen. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food safety and kitchen management. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring that high standards of food quality and presentation are maintained.

Duties

Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Supervise food preparation and production to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality. Implement and maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Monitor kitchen performance metrics and implement improvements where necessary.

Skills

Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced hospitality environment. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Exceptional culinary skills with a passion for food preparation and production. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on developing talent within the team. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure. Ability to communicate clearly with both kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations.
